“So, you deduced not only Crouch’s identity, but also his work as Moody, just by an offhanded comment on your skill?” Riddle asked, sounding more than curious, and yet not at all impressed, “Explain that to me.”
Harry stared at Riddle for a long second before he built up enough courage to face pain once more. He could do this, it would be fine. He could face pain — pain was fine. Harry had been in pain his whole life, he could deal with this. He’d be dead soon, and he wasn’t about to do anything Riddle asked. He’d rather die than allow Riddle to understand any of what Harry thought.
