Summary
Hua Cheng held out his left hand. Trembling, Xie Lian took it, and studied the scar there. He pressed it up to his lips in a kiss, then opened his mouth. He fit his teeth against the shape of the scar, and it was a perfect match.
Xie Lian let go of Hua Cheng's hand. His eyes travelled up Hua Cheng's arm and to the nape of his neck, where a matching mark was branded on his skin. Gently, Xie Lian traced the crescent of the tattoo with two fingers. When he pulled away, he realized his eyes were wet.
“You tattooed my bite on your claiming spot,” Xie Lian said, his voice thick with emotion.
As the crown prince and royal heir to the Kingdom of Xianle, Xie Lian is medically induced into presenting as an alpha at a young age. The thing is... his personality isn't very alpha-like.
A few years later, in the midst of defending his crown prince from a yao attack, a nameless soldier presents as an omega. And yet the man he becomes, Crimson Rain Sought Flower, slayer of 33 gods and scourge of the heavens, is the last person anyone would assume to be one.
