He cried until there was nothing left to cry. And then would just sit there. A waste of space dust as he lost himself to the storms of agonizing grief.
See, he's different–the monsters didn't do that. They didn't care. They didn't beg the universe for another chance to break free from the loop. They just wanted to take and take and take and never paid attention to how it hurt those around them.
Well Sun was paying attention.

So the planet decides he needs to talk to his star. Neither Earth nor the Sun expects what that conversation will become. Once emotions begin to spill out, the Sun is forced to truly look at himself as more than just a powerful star. He must confront what kind of leader he has been…

Earth looking at him with uncertainty as he gripped onto his hand tightly like he didn't want him to go.
“We're okay, right?”
He took a long breath, exhaling slowly as he kept his expression calm.
