Summary
As intruders go, a frightened kid huddling in a corner of the basement doesn’t rank that highly on the old danger scale. He’s got his hands over his ears – Dean doesn’t blame him, actually; the alarm system seems extra loud down here somehow – and he’s hiding his face in his busted-up goodwill clothes, and frankly Dean’s more inclined to offer the guy a meal than fire a gun at him.
Then the kid looks up, and Dean damn near shoots him on sight.

Summary
Castiel is accustomed to working with mistreated submissives. At 28, he's one of the leading experts in his field, having pioneered the usage of a much softer style of domination as a treatment for Submissive Rejection Syndrome. His insistence on handling issues of "defiance" with gentleness and patience has ruffled some feathers in the world of submissive psychology, but there’s no arguing with his success rate.
When he gets the call about Dean, though, Cas almost can't believe what he's hearing. Suffering from the exceedingly rare Complete Submissive Rejection Syndrome, Dean has never once in his life gone into subspace, and has become so feral and violent in an effort to keep dominants away from him that he’s in danger of being put down.
The man is a challenge like nothing Cas has ever faced before, and he doesn’t know if mere kindness will be enough to pull him back from the brink. Chasing Dean’s trust, Cas struggles to find a way to tear down the submissive’s walls and show him he’s safe enough to let himself go.
But true trust is a two way street, and Cas has walls of his own. When Dean starts to knock on them, will Cas be brave enough to answer?

Summary
In the year 2299, on a transport ship in deep space, three million people slept. They waited, frozen inside egg-like pods, waiting for the day they could safely wake up—the day they could go home, when Earth would be safe again.
If the systems on the ship were left unchecked—if something went wrong—for forty-eight hours, then two people were selected. Their duty: to assess the ship, find the problem, and fix it.
Wannabe-Engineer Dean Winchester and Reluctant-Medic Castiel Novak were taken out of hypersleep.
The ship's failing oxygen system meant three million humans were in danger. And that, it turned out, was the least of Dean and Castiel's worries...

Summary
“It’s better for Dad to think that I smoke than–” Dean cuts himself off. “It’s better.”
“Better than what, Dean?” Sam’s voice gets higher, louder. It’s damn lucky that John’s passed out in his room, dead to the world. “What are you doing with Castiel that’s worse than smoking?”

Summary
A few weeks ago, after a huge fight, Dean and Castiel decided to end their four year relationship. It's a bad time for Dean all over, not the least because he and Cas can't agree on who gets to keep their apartment. They're caught in the Cold War of the Apartment, where Cas wakes Dean up every morning with mediocre pop Christmas hits.
The Cold War of the Apartment reaches a brief detente when Dean gets a call from his mother: Mary is feeling lonely thanks to her recent divorce from John, and this year, she wants all her children to come home for Christmas. Unfortunately for Dean, Castiel is included in that list.
Dean reaches an agreement with Cas: if Cas comes with him and pretends that they're still in a relationship, Dean will cede the apartment to him. But if Cas lets out that they're not together, or if he leaves early, then Dean gets the apartment. It's not ideal, but it's the best agreement Dean can fathom.
Now all Dean has to do is survive two weeks at Christmas, in close proximity to his ex-boyfriend (who he definitely still has feelings for), while dodging well-meaning friends and family. Super easy. Nothing could possibly go wrong.
