In the reading room, the experience of the present victim who has the most secrets most connected to the rest of the victims are adapted into an extremely accurate novel. The novel proceeds to narrate itself and victims are unable to leave until the novel is finished.At the center of the room, a book with his face printed on the cover caught everyone’s attention.
Yeah, he’s fucked.
i.e. Characters react to source material because Kim Soleum keeps too much of his trauma under wraps and I need the others to see what sort of bullshit he gets up to.
