Huan Hua Palace's Head Disciple was a catch!
Content with her station and role as her Shifu's proxy and sword, alpha Su Xiyan avoided the topic of marriage. Unfortunately, Huan Hua Palace couldn't afford to offend the Emperor, and so she must be wed to the Emperor's omega granddaughter - much to her protective Shifu's growing distress. After all, in his opinion, nothing good was going to come out of having a disobedient omega around.
Shen Yuan was an unconventional princess. The man standing to one side of the bamboo house is not his husband.
It's Luo Binghe, of course. It's the same bearing, the same hair, the same red zuiyin on his forehead. But this Luo Binghe isn't his husband, because the sword he carries at his hip is Xin Mo, covered in so many talismans that there's hardly any of the blade left but paper, and beneath the robe fastened with an imperial belt, he's… wearing a black crew-neck T-shirt?.... or, Shen Qingqiu is having a peaceful morning with his son, except that the Luo Binghe who appears isn't his Luo Binghe. Luo Binghe is there to offer him a deal and, also, to give him more than Shen Qingqiu ever dreamed of getting back.
