The silence is tense, palpable, even.
He doesn’t look the same. Perhaps he hasn’t for a while now. That would make sense, Dream supposes. Still, there’s a melancholic kind of feeling burning an empty hole in his gut now that he’s faced with the reality that the boy that resides in his head isn’t the same boy standing in front of him
Because George looks so much more beautiful than he remembered.
“Hi, Georgie.”
Somehow, that incites him from his paralyzed state. “Oh my God.” A few more tense seconds pass. “What the fuck happened to you, Dream?”
Or: The world is ending. Dream pays George a visit.

Summary
A moment passes where they lay there, unmoving. George thinks Dream fell asleep.
He’s about to fall asleep himself when the boy behind him whispers his name.
A heartbeat passes.
“you’re my best friend.”
Another heartbeat. Then —
A soft, petal-like kiss on the shoulder. George tries not to shudder from the touch.
This is the moment he realizes his best friend is in love.
or: In the end, it doesn't really matter what you do with the mess. Its still mess. (Dream and George try anyway).

Summary
George hesitates. He puts his sandwich back down on the plate. “Please don’t fall in love with me”.
Dream looks at him. He gulps the rest of his water down, then places the now empty glass on the table.
He says, “Yeah, makes sense. That’s not a problem for me, trust me. I don’t fall easily”.
That gets George’s shoulders to loosen up, not even aware of the weight it carried. He picks up his sandwich again, taking a much more enthusiastic bite out of it. “Okay, good. Cause I just got out of a break up and a relationship is the last thing I need right now”.
“Don’t worry, Georgie. I won’t fall in love with you”.
“You have to pinky promise”.
Dream hooks his pinky with George’s. “I promise”.
or: George tries to find a distraction after a disastrous break-up.

George just misses Dream. He misses him so much in fact, that he allows himself to fall victim to the tricks Dream XD plays in his head. Anything to relive his happiest moments with the one person he misses the most, right?

Summary
Dan and Phil broke up in 2017. Today, Phil is a (slutty) gay media personality with a string of unsuccessful relationships and Dan is a (closeted) standup comedian with virtually no friends. The two of them have history — a lot of it. Stalkers, birthdays, suicide attempts and radio shows. Laughter, tears, codepency, growth. Much time has passed since they decided to put an end to all that.
When Dan’s manager persuades him to go on Phil’s podcast in order to promote his new tour, the both of them reconnect, just as Dan is contemplating a public coming out. Meanwhile, having once again broken up with someone who wasn’t quite the one, Phil is starting to believe he might just not be made for relationships.
Does eight years really mean anything, in the face of chemistry?
