Summary
There’s a hand on the side of his face, tilting his head up enough to meet the eyes that are staring down at him so intently. Itadori’s eyes, Megumi’s brain helpfully supplies after a moment. Big, brown, worried eyes with pupils blown wide beneath a furrowed brow. Itadori’s hand is on his face, and he’s looking down at Megumi, and he looks worried.
What’s he so worried about?
Another rush of flushed heat pours through his torso, his abdomen feeling as though it’s being shredded from the inside out, and Megumi involuntarily squeezes his eyes shut, cut off from staring back up at those familiar, soft, pretty brown eyes.
Why is Itadori so concerned? He looks better when he’s happy. Unburdened.

Summary
They stand side by side for a moment, both contemplating the pile of blankets, the chill that clings to every corner and wall.
“Would you…uh…” Yuuta seems uncertain, but Toge stays quiet to let him put his thoughts together. “We could…watch a movie or something? To warm up a little?”
Yuuta’s expression is tentative as it searches Toge’s face, clearly cautious of crossing any boundaries, though even to Toge it seems slightly excessive. It’s not as if they haven’t hung out in one another’s rooms before, catching up on homework or settled on top of one of their beds watching a movie late into the night, or occasionally just conversing in low voices and dimly lit signs as the moon rose outside the window, on the nights when their mutually poor sleep schedules aligned.
This seems different, though, at least to Yuuta. Perhaps it’s the implication of keeping warm, of sharing each other’s space and body heat in a closer capacity, a sort of intimacy neither of them is overly accustomed to.
As he feels another chill crawl its way over his skin, Toge is ready to throw any inhibitions out the window. Aversion to physical contact be damned, he is freezing.

Megumi is suddenly pulled out of his reverie, from where he’s spent the last several minutes absently gazing at the stacks of books lining the shelves of the library, trying and failing to come up with ideas for his latest essay assignment.
Yuuji is wide-eyed where he’s leaning across the table to get a closer look at Megumi’s face.
megumi has heterochromia. yuuji has just realised this, after months of knowing each other. megumi can't fathom why that's important.
