Summary
How was Harry to know things at the Dursley’s were going to get so bad that his accidental magic would land him into a forest of another country altogether.
Just his Potter luck striking again, because the first creatures he comes across is bloody Voldemort and his pet killer snake. But Harry is an adaptable lad and surprisingly Voldemort is quite pleasant to talk with when he is not trying to kill him.

Summary
The Triwizard Cup spits Harry and Cedric into a graveyard, and Voldemort rises. Harry escapes with a dead boy and a red string running from his right hand.
He doesn't look at it. He files it under no and moves on.
It's the summer after the Tournament. Harry is fifteen and living with Sirius in a white house on the Pembrokeshire coast, and there are bigger things to worry about — the Ministry's denial, Dumbledore's preparations, the fact that he watched someone die. The string can wait. The string is waiting.
Then the bond starts making itself known.
Or: Harry Potter discovers his soulmate in a graveyard and spends the better part of a year perfecting the art of not dealing with it. The bond has opinions about this. So, infuriatingly, does Voldemort.

“My Lord, I live to serve you,” Bellatrix cooed, bowing before him. “I have succeeded where all others failed—I have ensured your rebirth. You will be better, stronger than—”
“I am not your Lord, you mad tramp.”
Harry snorted, unable to stop himself as a look of outrage and embarrassment crossed Bellatrix’s face. She raised a hand to cover her cleavage. “But—my Lord—”
“I am Tom Marvolo Riddle, neither a titled Lord nor the Lord you were apparently expecting.”

Bellatrix uses Harry to resurrect Voldemort, but gets blindsighted when he chooses to seduce Harry Potter instead of kill him.
