Summary
"I keep having this weird dream. Weirder than normal."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah," Zoey laughs, reliving a memory that had yet to come. "I'm swimming, sorta. Sometimes I drown. Sometimes I just sit there and float, surrounded by miles and miles of ocean. There's never really anywhere to go, but..." her shoulders shrug and she smiles softly. "You're always there, pulling me out, Ru."
The sky whistles, and Rumi hates the way her heart lurches at that, hates how it brings out a weak smile of her own. She hates how Zoey looks at her, like everything she said was imminent, perfectly aligned. Fitting.
It makes her ill.
Still, she laughs anyway, in spite of her loathing. "Y'know I can't swim, right?"
"I know," Zoey says candidly, as if she knows everything there ever was to know about Rumi. "That's the part that makes it weird."

Summary
“You're up early.” Korra announced, yawning.
“Yeah, I am.” Asami confirmed. “I’ve been up for a while.”
Strong, yet tired arms wrapped around Asami's torso. Worn, but gentle hands innocently fiddled with her robe tie. Korra rested her chin on her shoulder, almost testing her pulse with her breath.
“Bad dream?” The tired woman murmured, obviously trying her best to comfort Asami if needed.
The heiress shook her untouched bed-head truthfully. “No. Just watching.”
