Summary
Love comes at Seungmin fast and hard when he moves far away from home for university. As he spirals into a series of relationships that leave him more broken hearted than the next, Seungmin’s grateful to have one constant in his life despite all his misfortunes with love: Hyunjin, his next door neighbor, a fellow student in the same year at university, who is always there to greet Seungmin with a smile in the morning and helps Seungmin pick up the pieces of his broken heart whenever another of his unfortunate relationships come to an end.

“Hyunjin is dead,” Jeongin breathed. He looked up to see the others stare back at him with wide eyes, Hyunjin towering over them at the back, the light from the window in the hallway lighting up his figure. “They told me he was dead.”
Hyunjin's dark eyes found Jeongin’s tearful ones.
“Not dead,” Hyunjin said with a poisonous smile. “Just gay.”
Or: Jeongin has spent years mourning the loss of his first love, a love he was told by his church was sinful and wrong, but one he just couldn't stop from blooming in his chest. Now, years later, Jeongin meets Hyunjin again, very alive and also very different from how he used to be back in their shared church.
