"Exactly." Rouge steps even closer, into Wave's personal space. She places a finger on her midriff, right below the hem of her top, and drags it slowly downwards. "I could teach you a thing or two, if you'd like."
Wave stares at the finger toying with the waistline of her pants, incredulous. "Are you seriously trying to coerce me into having sex with you?"
Rouge laughs airily and pulls her hand away. "Oh, honey. No."

Summary
The house is full today. The crowd screams and sings along as the vampire performs, and the whole Ooo will probably be talking about this show for weeks straight.
But, as she sings on the stage, fingers meticulously picking at strings of her bass, Marceline doesn't notice any of that. Because her eyes can only focus on the pink girl in the audience.

Summary
It’d been a month or so since…everything happened—and Sonic’s nightmares had shown no sign of granting him mercy. Sometimes he would jerk awake in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, gasping for breath; other times, his eyes would snap open and he would be gripping his blankets with trembling hands, as if his body wanted to reach out and save Shadow.
Today, he woke up feeling completely numb all over, his muzzle drenched from fresh tears. The morning sun was just barely rising over the horizon, streaks of light peeking through the circular window on the ceiling and bathing the floorboards of the attic in warm orange.
How cruel was it that mornings were so beautiful when Shadow couldn’t be here to see it?
OR: Shadow isn’t dead. Sonic just doesn’t realize it until he catches Shadow on the Wachowski’s security camera, sneaking into the house night after night.

Summary
Getting into Shadow’s head is an easy game for Sonic. Shadow can admit to herself that the other hedgehog lives there rent free already. It’s as if she’s made an art of it—finding the perfect moments to be the most irritating bur in Shadow’s meticulously conditioned and styled fur that she has no choice but to react and try her best to get rid of it.
