Louis decides to he really wants to finish the book. The only problem is Daniel fell off the face of the Earth after the night Armand saved him. Armand and Louis have been in a comfortable relationship for 77 years but for the last 49, something has been off about Armand. Not only that, lately, Lestat has been in Louis's dreams.

Summary
An AU after all Armand's machinations, he turns Daniel after the face the Great Convergence (Akasha, is that you?!) Only then does Armand have a complete mental break after he processes how he almost, finally, lost Daniel.
Determined to never be in that position again, Armand abruptly cuts himself off from Daniel, Lestat and Louis—the only ones he still cared to lose—and determines he will in all ways be better off if he just returns to the ways of the Children of Satan.
Except, Daniel and Lestat embark together on a road trip to bring Armand back to both them and himself, even if they have to bring him back kicking and screaming.
