Seungmin retorts, “You seem close with your advisor.”
“I am,” the king admits, his gaze boring into Seungmin’s. The king can openly admit to such a thing, almost boasting. And if Seungmin did the same he’d be dragged out and thrown to the dogs. But at least he can assume that the king won’t try to touch him beyond tonight. “You know to be discreet, of course,” he says off-handedly.
Seungmin whips his neck over to the king, incredulous, hardly daring to believe his ears. “I—I beg your pardon?” he grits out.

Summary
Lee Minho is known to be strict. Most students that have taken her course say she's got a stick up her ass, but really, she just takes her job seriously. That's one of the reasons why Chan became her teaching assistant.
When a student asks her a stupid question and Minho answers in a passive aggressive tone, Chan is the one they come to with their tail between their legs. Around the campus, he’s seen as the sweetest guy ever.
Such behavior from a professor might be interpreted as rude or inappropriate, but in Chan's eyes, she’s a bit of a brat.
