Summary
Bouncing back from a government shutdown and budget cuts to his beloved Parks and Rec department, Charles Xavier decides that a team rivalry is just what Westchester needs to reinvigorate its civic pride and just what his department needs to balance their budget. When state auditor (and Charles' arch rival) Erik Lehnsherr decides to participate, however, the team rivalry turns into another manifestation of their own personal rivalry, with Raven and Moira caught in the middle.

Summary
Erik is a CIA agent who has been tracking down black market dealer and occultist Sebastian Shaw for the past ten years with no real end in sight. When he stumbles upon an unexpected lead that will put him one step ahead of Shaw at last, archaeology professor and Templar enthusiast Charles Xavier becomes unwittingly entangled in the fray, and Erik suddenly finds himself with a brand new partner who is the only one who can truly help him on what's become a quest to find the Holy Grail. But Charles is even more than Erik bargained for, especially after they're forced to pretend to be a married couple as a cover while racing to find the Grail before Shaw does, and both Erik and Charles find they've possibly bitten off more than they can chew.

The perfectly hot liquid had moistened his lower lip, and he had sucked it into his mouth with a satisfied, unconscious whimper. It was delicious, after all.
That’s when he heard it, though not through his ears.
It was his voice, his moan, but louder, drawn out and broken.
It echoed inside his skull for a few moments, a dirty, endless loop, then stopped abruptly as if it was never there.
