Summary
A canon-compliant, internally consistent episode-by-episode exploration of Mulder and Scully’s interiority, usually accompanied by a little vignette, before or after. (Digging into the on-screen *and* the off-screen, one ep at a time.)
I've tagged it Explicit for future-purposes; explicity comes to those who wait, or something.
Currently updating every four days.
Though I’m writing these because I feel compelled to do so, I hope that you enjoy them! That would be lagniappe.

Summary
In which, following the high school reunion in The Rain King, Scully decides she's waited long enough.
(This starts fluffy and gets smutty. There's dancing and there's teasing and there's more than one happy ending.)

Summary
“—this has something to do with what happened. With Eddie Van Blundht.”
He stirred, tapped the spoon against the rim of the pot and set it aside. Then turned to her and leaned back against the counter, crossing his long legs and bracing on his palms. “What did happen?”
She sipped from her wine to keep her mouth busy. It didn’t help; his gaze followed the wineglass to her mouth, then trailed down her throat as she swallowed. It was warm in here, no doubt from the stove being on.
“You read my report, Mulder,” she said, calmly. “Are you impugning my thoroughness?”
“Never.” For some reason, his voice was thick. His eyes had moved back to her mouth. Now they rose to meet her steady look—slowly, like he was taking his time, taking in the contours of her face. “But given the nature of the… encounter, I have to assume there were details you didn’t include because you didn’t think they would be appropriate for an official report.”

Summary
I can’t say with certainty where we’ll end up (together or separately).
But for now, these chapters are manifesting as little explorations of Mulder and Scully’s internality within each episode, usually accompanied by a little off-screen vignette, before or after.

Summary
There was something about sitting in the dark with someone, in the cab of a sedan at night. Two beings, side by side, collected together in shadow. Dim light cast from a half-moon or a distant streetlamp scarcely catching silhouettes, car parked determinedly out of sight, engine cold. There was something anonymous about it. Clandestine. As if time, and usual protective walls, ceased to exist.
Follow Mulder and Scully, as their relationship unfolds then folds back in on itself, as they sit together - over many seasons of stakeouts.
What can happen in the dark?
Written for the 2021 X-Files SMUT exchange. Yes, it's that kind of story, so buckle up.

Summary
It always bothered me that Mulder had a degree in psychology but only seemed to use it on other people. Also I know it was the 90s, but everybody in this show needed a minimum 400 years of therapy. And yes, there's eventually sex.

Summary
Mulder and Scully accidentally get dosed with something that brings a lot of feelings to the fore. Started out as pure smut, but turned into a reasonable character/relationship study. Still a lot of sex, though.
