“Is that so bad?!” Beomgyu protested.
“I mean, when did this all start?” Yeonjun prompted.
Beomgyu sighed. “End of last semester. He treated me to a steak dinner as a thank you and a reward for ending the semester. He got out of his suit too, no man that intimidating should look so fucking cute.”
There was shuffling behind the call. “Wait what? Steak dinner? Like...family restaurant steak or dress code fine dining steak?”
“Dress code...”

Beomgyu watched Soobin pull a list out of his pocket, an impending sense of doom making the hairs stand up on the back of his neck. He did not like the look of Yeonjun’s smile right now.
“This is Top Ten Beomgyu Simping Fails, by me and Yeonjun hyung,” Soobin announced to the room. “Ranked in order of least to most embarrassing.”
Kai’s laugh was so high and loud that it felt like it was shattering Beomgyu’s eardrums, but he could hardly hear it. It was as though his brain had simply stopped processing anything beyond when the words “Beomgyu Simping Fails” left Soobin’s mouth.
