Summary
Summers on the ranch were the highlight of your childhood. Your name, Olivia Taylor, had become one in the many families of like-minded survivalists who took a chance and invested in Jeremiah Otto's dream for a better future. It was your home away from home. A safe place to land. You had grown fond of long days, candy sunsets, and a peculiar boy with blue eyes who understood you.
Even with the monsters in your life close by, with Troy, you were untouchable. The world could crash and burn, and together, you'd trample anyone left in its wake. That was, until you and your family left.
You spent the next half of your life running and never looking back. You'd gotten good at it. An expert at this point. You thought that running from the dead would be the same. But now, with the dead closing in, you think you might be ready to die. Until you remember the last time you saw Troy, how you felt, and you make up your mind. You can't run anymore. You have to keep going, you have to survive, even if it means facing your past. You'll seek solace in the one place you are sure would still be standing: Broke Jaw Ranch.

“You’re unapologetic in the fact you hacked your way through our trial system?” Steve commented.It wasn’t a question, but it wasn’t a statement either.
You swallowed hard as you tried to read the room.
“Was that not the test? To overcome the system?” You asked, looking between Steve and Pepper Potts.“Our trial system is meant to be impassable.” Pepper stated gently, no anger or upset in her tone. “An impossible test. Rigged in our favour.”

She had endured years of solitude, crafting a facade of resilience, and now, faced with his supposed face, her mind rejected the implausible truth.
"This isn't real," Cristine blurted out, her voice laced with desperate denial. The fragility of her mental state, often masked by a stoic survivor persona she had unveiled in full, unraveled in the face of this impossible. "You're not real. "Attempting to escape, Cristine recoiled, trying to distance herself from the phantom holding her captive that defied the logic of her grief-stricken existence. "You're dead." Sheer panic gripped her, an overwhelming surge of fear that clawed at the edges of her consciousness.
