“Wait, hold on,” the man said, raising his free hand in a peaceful gesture. “You must be the guy Hanta sent. I didn’t think you’d be getting here until later this evening, or I would have cleared out the renovation stuff from the entryway.”
“Hanta told me the house was empty,” Katsuki stared at him. “He said his friend lived in the city and was just letting me use the place.”
“Well, Hanta usually gets half the story right,” the man laughed, a deep sound that seemed to vibrate in the open air. “I’m Kirishima Eijirou. This is my place, but I spend most of my time out here or in the shed working on the repairs.”
Katsuki looked him over again, trying to reconcile the image of Hanta’s sophisticated city friends with this paint-stained man standing in the mud.
Kirishima didn’t seem to recognize him at all, or if he did, he didn’t care about the fame that usually made Katsuki’s life a living hell.
It was disarming.

Ochaco seemed like the safe harbor of common sense, at least until she swallowed a mouthful of fries and pointed a greasy finger at him.
"So you're basically playing gay chicken," she said, her voice bright and far too carrying for his comfort.
Katsuki stopped chewing, his fork hovering inches from a piece of wilted lettuce. He stared at her, feeling a sudden regret for ever opening his mouth. Ten minutes ago, she had been a sympathetic listener, but now she looked entirely too amused by his suffering.
"What the fuck are you talking about?"

Summary
Touch starved was a pathetic phrase, but it fit. He had spent months doing little besides studying, going to the gym, sleeping badly, and pretending he preferred solitude because it sounded better than admitting no one interested him enough to bother. Then Eijirou had become part of his routine so gradually that Katsuki failed to notice how much space he occupied until everything else started arranging itself around him.
So this was attraction, period.
Not destiny, not some rare connection, not evidence of hidden feelings waiting to be uncovered. Just deprivation meeting availability, loneliness dressed in better clothes, and desire fastening itself to the nearest person who made being alone feel optional.

Izuku knows what it takes to be a good hero, and he does try his best, but he also knows that everyone in the world expects him to be more than that. He’s supposed to be a good person, a good hero, a good friend, a good son, and a good boyfriend all at the same time.
He knows that the world expects for him to be perfect, but how can anyone be?
And what kind of a good person would end up here of all places?

Summary
When Izuku starts spending time with Eraserhead-thanks to Shinsou Hitoshi-He didn't expect to find something like a friend in the older man. He certainly didn't expect the man to offer to pretend to date him when Bakugou's romantic interest escalates to a concerning level. And the absolute last thing he ever expected was for that to turn into a real relationship, but he's not complaining. Bakugou is not pleased about the situation, however, and has plans to make that clear.
