“What’s up with you and Langdon?” Samira asked as they charted at central later in the day. Mel, who had been laying with her forehead against the cool table, shot up at the comment.
“What do you mean?” Mel had never been able to hide her affection for Dr. Langdon. The two of them just seemed to click in a way she didn’t with her other co-workers. But she had been careful to keep the professional boundary between them, especially once she found out from Princess and Perlah that he had been officially divorced.
Samira glanced between Mel and Langdon, who was speaking with the parent of a patient outside of one of the rooms. “He’s been watching you like a hawk all day. It’s weird.”
“He’s just worried,” Mel said, relaxing a bit. “He thinks I’m getting sick.”
Samira huffed. “He didn’t really care when Whitaker was sick two weeks ago. But then again, he’s not attached at the hip to Whitaker like he is with you.”

Summary
It’s safe to say that everyone at PTMC knew about Mel and Langdon's relationship way before they did. Some could have probably guessed its eventuality during Mel’s first day, most clocked it the day of Langdon’s return. And those who didn’t were eventually made aware. There was at least some monthly hint.
