Yuki could not even care less about the purpose of the ball. His heart is beating fast at the thought that, technically, he was invited as well. Was he not a young, eligible bachelor of any social standing? It was the perfect opportunity for Yuki to go outside for a change. To try the spreads that the palace catering has to offer.
