His feet scraped against the ground, he could feel the trash that littered the alleyway floor dig into the soles of his feet but he wouldn't stop, Couldn't stop.
If he stopped then it was back to that cell, back to the agonizing hours spent suffering.
He urged his exhausted limbs forward
Ignoring the pain, The only thought running through his mind was freedom. He surged towards the light at the end. Tears rolled down freckled cheeks as the alleyway walls seemed to bare down on him from every side. He charged forward. His feeble wings flapping behind him.
The light was so close he could almost feel it.
He leapt forward. Hope blossoming in his heart before-
*BAM*
Izuku had slammed into something, More specifically someone. He opened his eyes, squinting as he adjusted to the light. Two pairs of eyes stared wide eyed back at him.
He took in his surrounds. He was seated in a mans lap.
The mans red wings subconsciously flared behind him.Izuku's stared back.
He's just like me?

Basically I gave Izuku a super overpowered healing quirk and put him in Eri's place with Hawks and Aizawa on the case to save him. -

Hello all! This series is written a bit differently to my others! Each arc will be seperated into its own little 'book'. So make sure you bookmark the series as a whole so you can keep up with all of the updates! Im trying it this way for various reasons, but mostly because slogging through longfics to go back and fact check myself gets old. This way it'll be easier on me to keep this story straight.

At the age of eight, a boy called Midoriya Izuku disappeared. It happened on a day like any other. As usual, he had been at school, but he never came home.
Six years after Izuku’s disappearance, a new vigilante emerged who made a name for himself within a few months. Two more years later, he had become one of the most wanted vigilantes in the country. This self-proclaimed fighter for justice remained hidden and no one could say exactly what he looked like. He not only kept a certain underground hero with a chronic lack of sleep on his toes, but also an entire police station. They would soon be joined by a hero who was better known for being in the spotlight than for flying over deserted alleyways at night.
The name of this vigilante was Zero. -

Summary
Izuku is technically a runaway, not technically homeless, was adopted by cats, and doesn't get enough human interaction.
He has eaten things he'd rather not think about, accidentally done some vigilantism, has a maybe slightly forced positive disposition, and a grand total of two motivations in life that keep him laser-focused on the future instead of processing his daily hardships in any capacity -- healthy or otherwise.
He's got his work cut out for him, but he's never had a better chance to be a hero.
He thinks he's doing pretty well, all things considered. Despite his circumstances and the lies he must tell to make his dreams happen, nothing will distract him from it. Not even the tired scowl of a cat-loving, too-sharp teacher with a built-in bullshit detector, honing in on him from day one.

Izuku lives a tough life after his mom dies, and being a magnet for trouble, he doesn’t have time to think about anything except his next meal and the roof over his head, using his quirk to survive while he strives to follow his dream of being a hero. Lucky for him, he has an innate gift for being adopted by anything with a parental instinct. Whether it's a clowder of cats or a pro hero.
