Jason Todd nods, “Ok… so the Heat did change something.” Fingers touch Talon’s hair, brushing it aside. It feels nice. He closes his eyes. The noise coming from his chest is weird, foreign. He doesn’t know if he likes it. Alpha inhales sharply, “Oh.”

Summary
The “M-“ and “D-“ words were often tiptoed around in the Grady household. If Owen and Claire were lucky, Maisie might refer to them as her “parents”, but it took some seriously stressful situations for that to happen. Maybe it just takes being kidnapped along with a baby raptor and facing down the world’s largest carnivores to understand that life is too short not to say the word “dad”.
Just some short and mindless fluff about what may have went down the day everyone got home after the events of Dominion.
