Shen Qingqiu was destined to push Luo Binghe into the Endless Abyss.
In the end, the years he spent tirelessly toiling over this fate had amounted to nothing. No amount of arguing, threatening, or begging the System would prevent his own sword from striking that final blow.
But it wasn’t until the Endless Abyss finally snapped its jaws shut around Luo Binghe and swallowed that Shen Qingqiu realized he had made a singular, catastrophic mistake.
Shen Qingqiu had not considered the grief.

Too ensnared by memories and reminiscing Lan Wangji doesn’t hear someone enter the courtyard.
The hairs on the back of his neck flare as he snaps his head to stare at Nie Huaisang staring back at him, witnessing him unthreading the shroud. “Lan Wangji? What’re you doing…”, Nie Huaisang is taking slow steps back, reaching for the door. “I…I don’t know anything!!!” Nie Huaisang screams as he runs from the courtyard to presumably find Lan Xichen.

Or Lan Wangji is forced to marry after trying to save Wei Ying, he delays this by tricking his suitors into believing a burial Shroud takes 10 years to do. After being caught, he presents his suitors with a challenge. Wei Ying is summoned as usual and is brought back to Cloud Recesses where he happens to foil the suitors plans alongside Sizhui & Jingyi. Wei Ying also happens to win the challenge.Very much inspired by EPIC: The Musical and wanted to give it a shot at writing what I was imagining!

It wasn't the answer Shen Qingqiu had been hoping for. Or, rather, it was—it just spelled out a future that he wouldn't be around to see. Still... "So strong that no one under the heavens would dare challenge you?"
Luo Binghe raised his own teacup to his lips and paused. "No. That means every fight would be boring." Then he shot a mischievous look at Shen Qingqiu. "Unless... Shizun wants me to? Would Shizun find his littlest disciple becoming a peerless warrior... pleasing, perhaps?"
Shen Qingqiu opened his fan and hid behind it in lieu of burying his face in his hands. "Incorrigible," he grumbled, defeated.
