Susie rescues him by bringing him to their Castle Town, but unfortunately, it’s a little too late as he begins to fall ill. Both the Lightners and Darkners work together to care for him as he struggles to reconcile with feelings and recover lost memories.

Summary
Tenna had already told him this wouldn’t work if he kept too many secrets. He’d insisted that for a variety of reasons; one, said primary secret that Spamton was keeping - his benefactor, and his one-way ticket to being a bigshot - was something Tenna more than wanted in on. Secondly, if they really were going to be… long-term partners, communication was important. They argued enough as is, he didn’t need Spamton sneaking off doing god-knows-what. Getting blackout drunk or high out of his mind, he assumed, knowing what Hollywood hotshots tended to be like.
… thirdly, because for as much as he wanted to dismiss it as that, and subsequently convince himself that some sort of ire was deserved, he couldn’t help but worry about the implications of that being the case. He didn’t want to see the poor guy hurt, especially when he had such a habit of hiding it.
