He is in the hero course, All Might doesn‘t want his quirk back (yet) and his classmates for better or worse don't hate him.
(He doesn‘t think about how often he had a brush with death, was held at gunpoint — and how he has to live paycheck from paycheck and sometimes has to skip a meal in order to be able to drive home. How there are new white streaks in his hair and he feels like he can trust nobody — not even himself.)
Izuku should have known.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku was four years old when he learned that he was quirkless, but that wasn't going to stop him. Despite discrimination and losing everything he knew, he was going to be his own brand of hero even if it meant being a little illegal.
Aizawa was way to young to find a teenager on a roof in the middle of the night, but that wasn't going to stop his parental instincts.
This is a what if story. What if Deku was still quirkless but realized that it was still possible to be a hero? What if he had a really supportive parental figure in his life that helped him learn what he needed to be the best hero he can be?
