Summary
In the chaos of battle, during a duel with Bellatrix, Sirius Black falls through the Veil. Yet death does not claim him. Instead, he awakens decades earlier—fifteen years old again, trapped in the past.
Armed with knowledge of what’s to come and scars no one else can see, Sirius turns to his Uncle Alphard. He’s taught to play the perfect Black heir while quietly shifting pieces behind the scenes. He walks the halls of Hogwarts with ghosts at his side, cherishing each moment with the friends he’s come back to save.
Then, something changes. A new student arrives. Wild curls, fire-bright eyes, and a gaze far too knowing for her age. He knows her.
"Kitten?" he whispers, stunned.
"Siri?" she breathes and runs to him across the Great Hall.
In 1998, the war was lost. The Boy Who Lived is dying, magic stripped in a cruel twist of fate. The Order is shattered. With hope fading, a forgotten ritual is found and a desperate plan takes shape.
Now, twenty-three years in the past, Sirius Black and Hermione Dagworth-Granger reunite to stop the war before it begins. Secrets must be kept. Destinies broken. Fates defied. And maybe, just maybe, love can find its way in unexpected places.

Summary
Petunia wasn't the smart one. Or the pretty one. Or the magical one. But she was cunning, resourceful, and she knew what she wanted from life... and she got it.
So when her nephew turns up on her doorstep one cold November morning, she sees it as the opportunity that it is.
---
This was an odd little earworm of a plot bunny that wouldn't leave me alone. I'm much more inclined to shorter works, so it's a bit of a patchwork story.
Note on the tags. Petunia is... Petunia. She is not really 'Nice' or 'Good' but she's not 'Mean' or 'Evil' either. She's a selfish, self-centered woman with a brittle sense of self-esteem and a drive to be recognized as successful in her own right. I tagged it 'Good' because that was the closest I could get to 'not the horrible person from the book, but not really even close to a Molly'.
Also: I will not be tagging every single person who appears in the fic, only those with reoccurring roles. This is not a bashing fic and I've done as best as possible to give rational(ish) 'good intentions' explanations for the canon shenanigans.

Harold the Normal
“My Unicorn is better."
"French," Petunia corrected with a sigh.
"I can say unicorn," Dudley objected, "he's one of them, it's only not polite if they don't already know."
"Unicorns can't talk," Snape said dismissively. "When did you learn how to talk to snakes?"
"Have you tried French?" Harry asked doubtfully.

Summary
Harry Potter is informed in third year that he's technically Lord Slytherin by Right of Conquest since he killed the basilisk. This is very stupid, but on the other hand, if Harry can use it to protect people and solve their problems, he will. (it's still stupid, though).
