Summary
Evan Buckley learns quickly that the psych ward is a place where doors close gently and people leave without saying goodbye.
His parents sign the papers and disappear. His sister is already gone. Buck stops expecting anyone to stay.
Eddie Diaz volunteers at the hospital because he believes no one should be alone in the worst moments of their life. Buck doesn’t believe in people like that.
