Summary
Louis knew somewhere deep down that he was being a little childish, but he didn’t care. He didn’t care that Lestat didn’t need a reason to not want to look at his photos. He didn’t care that he and Lestat weren’t together, that it was his decision, and that Lestat wasn’t really behaving any differently than he had before. He didn’t like that Lestat was always hundreds if not thousands of miles away from him, making people laugh who weren’t him, performing for people who weren’t him, having sex with people who weren’t him.
He didn’t like it, but he wasn’t about to admit that to Lestat.

Summary
“What do you want me to do?” Remus says, tiredly. All he wants is to curl up on his bed. Smoke a pack of cigarettes. Get drunk. He can’t stop looking at Harry.
“Remus...” Dumbledore is gentle. Remus hates when he has that tone. Hates that he knows it will hurt. “There is no one else left.”
A bitter laugh escapes him. “So you’ll curse the poor thing with a werewolf for a guardian?”

Summary
She shakes her head, feeling befuddled. “I don’t know what to tell them, Papa. What do I say?”
He smiles sadly at her, and gently tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. “You say whatever you need to. Tell them as much or as little as you want. It is your story to tell, when–if–you want to tell it.”
Before she sets off to hunt slavers, Inej returns to the caravan.
