Nimble fingers carefully map out every blemish they reach with such delicacy and care that it almost makes Goro squirm; there’s a rebuttal on his tongue, boiling hot and ready to burst, but Akira beats Goro to the punch before the brunet can open his mouth.
“You’re special to me. More than you most likely think— ” Akira mumbles, pressing one final kiss to the back of Goro’s hand. Gazing at Goro through thick eyelashes, his next words are mumbled against rough skin. “So, I want to take my time with you. Savor every last drop.”
There’s a silent question that rests within onyx eyes: Is that alright?

Day Three: Inexperience
Four days.
Four days and five hundred kilometers. It doesn’t take away the shaking, the nausea, the dread. The images, flashing in Akira’s brain like a bullet. The dreams.
He’s here, but distant. Goro sleeps beside her in each hotel room they’ve paid for, buys cigarettes and food when they stop for gas, sits in the front of his motorcycle as they drive. Moves his handgun around to tuck into the side of his belt, so it wont dig into her stomach as she presses against his back. But he hasn’t kissed her. Not since they left.
Barely even touches her. She’s caught him looking. Eyes deep and heavy, perhaps with pity, perhaps with longing. Always so hidden inside his own head.
Akira just wishes Goro would say something.

“Amamiya-san,” she starts, tone friendly and expression cold as ice, “what did you just do?”
Due to a mishap in Mementos, Akechi gets a major haircut.

“You’re such a baby,” huffed Goro. “I’m almost 8! You’re tiny!”
“But… but…” Akira looked down and saw he had lost his paper ring in the grass. He quickly picked it up and in a snap decision, held it out to Goro. “Look, I made a ring! Do you want to put it on?”
Goro looked at it with wide eyes for a moment, then he took the ring from him hesitantly.
“Now we can be married!” said Akira cheerfully. “The teachers said…-”
Goro let the ring fall back to the ground, his eyes glittering as he stared at Akira, almost demonstratively, challenging, before putting his foot on the ring and grinding it on the grass.
For as long as Akira remembers, he's been in love with Makoto's big brother. Sadly, that's all he's ever seen in him - his little sister's best friend. But as the years go by, he finds that Akira simply refuses to give up.
