Fabulous steampunk detective novel with masses of detail and a suitably complex plot. It should be accessible to readers from other fandoms because all you need to know is that Lewis and Hathaway are Oxford police. Written as a gift-fic for me, after a winning auction bid. Well worth the wait - I'm not surprised it took her over a year to finish it!

A beautifully written story that references Supernatural (the characters) and Ladyhawk (the basic plot) but also has echoes of Arthurian legend, mediaeval chivalry and British fairy tales. It can be read by people unfamiliar with any of the fandoms involved. Highly recommended.

A really exciting story - technically SPN but very AU. Sam is a member of a tribe in what sounds like mediaeval Scandinavia but is never specified. Dean is D'ean, a dragon. Lovely writing inspired by some art. I did the beta and was thrilled to get a preview of everything! Highly recommended.

“From what?” James swings his arms out wide to encompass the empty moor in all directions. “We’re trained police officers and there’s no one else here.”
“From me,” Robbie says. Whether or not there are other dangers out on the moor, the danger Robbie poses is worse. If James doesn’t get going soon there’s nothing Robbie’s going to be able to do to protect him.

A beautifully written story that deals sensibly and sensitively with the aftermath of rape and disfunctional families. Very detailed description of hospital life for those involved in A&E and in medical research. A heartwarming romance with a happy ending but there is no explicit sex and whilst the love affair underpins the structure of the story it never takes centre stage away from the main focus and message.

A glorious AU that marries Jane Austen with Susanna Clarke and gives us same gender marriage as a 'norm' in a Regency setting. The magic is just as intense as in the source, and the outcome is fresh and satisfying. Highly recommended.
