The Aurors at his door, the three week holding period in Azkaban, the trial, the two years of house arrest. Potter had spoken at the trial. On his behalf. His eyes had met Draco’s in the courtroom, and Draco had seen nothing in his face but fatigue.
After everything, life goes on. Draco Malfoy survives, and learns to live again.
