Zanka’s first thought was to deny it. He sputtered out some sort of rejection to the thought, but he could barely hear himself over the blood rushing in his ears. Surely it was from the pain that was blooming in his hip from the fall, not what Rudo was saying… right?

Akira stares down at Ryuji’s unusually still body, his only solace resting in the fact that he can feel him breathing against his side, even if his breaths are short and unusually shallow. He can vaguely hear Futaba and Yusuke on the phone in the distance, as well as the other Thieves’ worried conversations, but Akira can only find himself repeating one thing in his mind.
At least he’s still alive.

Summary
The elevators in the Reverie were not known for their grand size, despite the general grand theme of the hotel.
It’s not that the elevators are small, per say, but after you realize you’re stuck in one, it’s almost impossible not to feel that claustrophobic dread creep over you.
Especially when you happen to be stuck in a far corner with no cell service and a very infuriating doctor by your side.
It’s safe to say that Aventurine is not amused by this situation in the slightest.

Aventurine and Dr. Ratio get stuck in an elevator together. Cue unspoken feelings and a sloppy make out session.
