Summary
These days, them getting dressed for work together isn’t out of the ordinary. Neither is Buck waking Chris up for school while Eddie takes a shower, or Buck cooking breakfast while Eddie lingers nearby, going over the bills at the dining table, or Chris trying to finish up last night’s homework while they eat their eggs and bacon.
Buck likes the company. It isn’t the same as Abby or Taylor or…Tommy, cuddling at night while sneaking kisses underneath the sheets, but maybe he’ll let himself admit it’s better.
In Eddie's absence, Buck moves into his house. Now that Eddie and Chris are back, things are different. Not bad. Just different.

Summary
“Yeah?” Eddie presses. “What’d you guys do?”
Buck lets out a startled laugh. “Eddie—”
“What?” Eddie says, tone casual, his gaze anything but. There’s something crackling in the air now, something hot and unspoken. “You brought someone into my house. I think I deserve to know.”Eddie’s not used to wanting something this badly. And he sure as hell isn’t used to seeing someone else with it.

Summary
“When was this?” Eddie asks, taking a sip of his drink and looking up from it.
“A couple of days after I moved into your place.” Buck shrugs, like he can’t quite remember.
He hates how casual Buck sounds. Like it was just nothing. Like it was completely normal that Buck didn’t tell him.
“You do that often?” Eddie keeps his tone deliberately neutral. “Hook up with people in my house?”
OR
After Ravi lets it slip that Buck hooked up with Tommy while Eddie was in Texas, Eddie does everything in his power to get Buck's attention back on him.

Summary
His reflection is pallid, eyes dull. He’s lost weight, and somehow didn’t notice it until he looked in this mirror eight hundred miles away from the one he’s looked in every day for months. He notes that he’s split his lip open chewing on it, but his body doesn’t move to wipe that blood away. He shaved with Buck’s razor this afternoon before he put his funeral suit on, the one Buck bought for him despite his admittedly weak protestations, and he nicked the wing of his jaw. He was right earlier. The circles beneath his eyes are dark as plumbs.
There is something wrong with him.
Eddie tugs the sleeves of Buck’s sweatshirt down over his stiff hands before he goes back to bed, so at least if he starts bleeding again he won’t ruin Buck’s nice soft sheets.

Eddie develops stigmata.
