    Denki knew he had been hit the moment his throat started to itch and tingle.

    The Lurkers had been called to fight a random guy with a truth quirk who wouldn't stop using it on important people in order to gaslight them so they would spill their darkest secret for him to write in his newspaper. Kinda fucked, right? Denki thought so too.

    The guy in question had slipped through the police's hands so they had called Pro-heros to catch him instead; MtLady, Edgeshot and Kamui Woods in that case, Denki and Sero were just here for the ride –and because they had an internship with them–

    Hence how he got to this point.

    He would never have said this out loud but his mouth seemed to blurt out what his brain was thinking. Good job Denki, that's how a truth quirk works.

    Or, the title explains everything

    Hitoshi achieves his dream of joining the hero course, and joins Class 1-A. Between his continuing training with Aizawa-sensei and the rest of the schoolwork he needs to catch up on, Hitoshi doesn’t have time for friends, and has no intention of making any.

    Unfortunately for those plans he is immediately stuck with the loud electric blond that for some reason seemed interested in him, and the rest is history.

    And yet it couldn’t have been more fortunate for him, with a golden, sunshiney best friend and several other close friends to follow, the first real parental figures he’s had in his life, and definitely absolutely no crush on said best friend, his life had turned around after joining the hero course for so much better.

    He’d just keep denying his feelings for a certain electric blond to keep this good thing going.

    Class 2-A just wanted to get away from the scene. It was embarrassing, and all of them were happy to arrive at the dorms.
    It took them until the next morning to realize something was odd. It didnt start "odd", not for some of them, though. It began when Denki entered the common room, frowning when he realized his phone didn't charge overnight.
    And then a girl who none of the present people had seen before walked downstairs. And had they may tried to explain things logically then, it was all over when bodyless clothes that suspiciously looked like they belonged to Todoroki walked into the common room and questioned why people were acting up. The class realized that this wasn't the flu infecting them one-by-one, but rather a quirk.
    A quirk that switched their quirks around.
    How lovely.
