What kind of face is An-chan making?
It was a smile before. Kohane has looked at this photo a thousand times. It was definitely a smile before, but, no matter how long she stares at, she doesn't see a smile. She doesn't see a frown, either.
Kohane just… can't tell.

This is far from the first time Kohane has spent the night at An’s. In fact, she does it whenever her parents allow it; staying at An’s apartment above Weekend Garage is much safer than walking all the way home on event nights, is her usual excuse. They’re both used to it, a comfortable atmosphere built in the shared space; Kohane knows An’s bedroom almost as well as her own. Tonight is another of these nights. A warm end to the day, one that should be routine, void of any butterflies in her chest or nagging thoughts at the back of her mind. Tonight should be no different than usual.
…Well. A few words exchanged at the back of a live house a few weeks ago, and the kiss that accompanied them, the change from singing partners to girlfriends… that’s enough to warrant anxiety, Kohane thinks, as An leads her up to her bedroom.
