A sudden noise jolted Jimmy from his thoughts, and there it was. The familiar question and answer boxes on his screen, a timer up at the top. Okay. So he was here to ask him a question. Cool.
Was he going to test his redstone knowledge? Well, Jimmy wasn't all that good at it, but he knew some trap mechanics. Or maybe it was the same old festive game trivia? Not like Jimmy was any better at that, but…
His twitchy eyes flit to the question:

Summary
Impulse's body begins to lose a bit of its feeling the longer he looks at it. Every passing second leaving him more numb and fuzzy than the last, eyes vibrating in their sockets, brain buzzing in his skull. He feels stuck.
He is stuck.
He can just barely register the way his hands go limp, his chest deflating as a deep, deep, deep breath slips past his trembling lips.
Why can't he look away? Why can't he look away from his bed?

Summary
Pearl is silent for a moment, breathing deeply as she looks out into the forest, thumb rubbing against the shiny skin of the apple.
"Can I ask you something?" she suddenly says. Impulse lets out a hum of affirmation. A soft, airy sigh leaves her lips.
"Would you eat it?"
The question doesn't hit as hard as it probably should've. Maybe because Impulse has asked himself that same question countless times before.

Summary
It’s also stupid, Impulse knows. What if it went wrong? What if Bdubs bit too hard, hit something he shouldn’t, caused damage neither of them could fix? What if he killed him?
Maybe that was part of the thrill. The idea of placing his life into those calloused, blood stained hands. The idea of offering himself up to Bdubs and praying he’d take him tenderly, just as he’d promised. The idea of being wanted… being needed. It was so tempting…
God, Impulse is an idiot.

Bdubs is a vampire. Impulse is not. An interesting sort of relationship ensues.

Summary
But Impulse knows that’s not where it’s coming from. Even in his paranoid state, he knows deep down that that’s not what Ren is doing, no matter what it feels like. Ren is worried. He knows Impulse is lying. He doesn’t want him to lie.
Impulse doesn’t want to, either. Truthfully.
But god, he doesn’t want to talk. He doesn’t want to talk about anything. Because where has that ever gotten him before?
Ren wouldn’t know what to say, anyways, he’s sure. He never does. Nothing he says ever helps, it just…
It makes Impulse so confused.
