"You are back early." Yi sang mentioned at the sound of bags being set on the counter behind him. Meursault had returned from going out for groceries after work.
Yi sang had been rinsing his observation slides on their miniscule kitchen sink. He had a five dozen of them, and not a single one of them was clean after his experiments in the morning.
His main work was investigating their percentage bond metrics. The work he would do was a complex mix of several areas of study, genetics, endocrinology, neuroanatomy, absolutely everything that involved what made a human function. He hoped to unearth the secret formula.
