The three of them look identical like this — grinning, snow piling on their hair, and with the same blue eyes. For a moment, they're not the Landaus, decorated and accomplished (or disgraced, for Serval) — they're kids who just happen to be born Landaus, playing in the endless white backdrop of the Landau Estate's massive backyard. Serval assumes it’s probably just the hypothermia talking.
