Summary
"Yu-" Sukuna's tongue slurs, "Yuu." He tries again, making a low sound of frustration when he cannot concoct Yuuji's name.
"Kuna…" Yuuji whimpers, tears obscured his vision as he weakly rose his gaze to peer at his twin. His eyelashes are clumped together, face damp. Sukuna's thump sweeps his cheekbone — his blood demon art Divine Flames makes them simmer away, and the touch is so warm that the ticklish feeling of heat borders on painful.
The twins stare silently at each other for a heart's beating moment. Observing, assessing. Yuuji drinks in the appearance of his twin the stature he should be, tall, hardened by the labor of the mountain. Even if he is changed by demonic attributes, Yuuji can — and does — still love him.
But there is a different look in Sukuna's eye.
Hunger.
