A series of vignettes depicting Emmrich and Rook’s strange little courtship from Manfred’s perspective. Tooth-rotting fluff in a most literal manner.

Summary
"It has to be Bellara who snitched. With her penchant for knee jerks and quick answers. Thoughts from the heart. Secrets run through her and the truth gets strained and filtered, however lovely her smile may seem. She’s also the only one who knows about the two of them, and knows Mr. and Mrs. Mommy and Daddy."
Or: Rook's parents now know she's seeing someone and demand she bring him to dinner.

Gendry, the rising frontman of The Brotherhood, has been getting threatening letters, so his manager insists on a bodyguard. He was picturing some big, tough man, not a tiny, young woman like Arya Stark.

Summary
Rogue comes to terms with her name, what happened on the Statue of Liberty, the people in her head, and the choice of the Cure.
Character study of Rogue that touches the first three movies, with references to X-Men: First Class.
Excerpt: On a whim she drives down the street she was born on, the street she grew up on. There are a few fathers mowing the lawns, patches of green, and little boys in overalls run around the porch, weaving between the legs of moms coming back from church in their fine linen gloves and pearls and the daughters in white chiffon dresses and pink ribbons wound around their hats. She tries to think if one of the men wiping sweat from their receding hairlines is her father, if one of the women brushing the dirt smudge off their son's cheek is her mother and a baby brother she’ll never meet, if one of the girls crouched in the grass making daisy chain crowns is the replacement daughter who’s not a freak.
