Enid liked boys. At least she’s pretty sure. Like, Ajax was cute and she had traded assignments with Wednesday during outreach day to be with him. But then he stood her up. Then they made up. And then Wednesday started going out with Tyler Galpin. And that sour, fizzing sensation deep in her chest couldn't possibly be jealousy like there’s absolutely no way. Right?
The first time it happens, Wednesday is busy reading. Or at least trying to. Her attention keeps slipping from her crime thriller novel to the colourful Lycan dancing for the parasites infesting the social media platform known as TikTok. The blonde is swaying her hips, a bright grin on her face. Rainbow sweater loose off one shoulder, white skirt flaring out as she spins. Pink thigh-highs tight against her skin. Sweat beading on her neck from exertion. A nauseatingly peppy BLACKPINK song blared from her too-tinny portable speaker.
Wednesday swallows thickly. Her throat suddenly too dry.
She hears it then. The traitorous beat of her heart skipping and accelerating from its usual steady, near corpse-like pulse to a jackhammer that pounds against her ribs.

The siren rolls her eyes. “Not you, granny. Div, how old will you and I be?”
Divina licks her lips as she does quick mental math. “Forty-three.”
“Exactly. Forty-three, old enough to have teenagers,” Bianca confirms. “So, any guesses as to who this tiny, gothic werewolf Addams might be?”
“Aunt Yoko,” the vampire repeats in realization. “Holy fucking shit.”

Or, a spell gone wrong brings Wednesday and Enid's daughter, Vega Addams, to the year 2025. She and her best friend Sora enlist the help of some familiar faces (and a hand) to get home without revealing her true identity to the teen versions of her mothers.
