Summary
Leaving an unidentified fungus unattended in the basement wasn’t a great idea, as it turns out. The decision to head back down there after the fact wasn’t much better. Now, Owen is paying the price.
He’s never eating mushrooms again after this.
Or: Prolonged exposure to the fungus in the basement leaves Owen sick and disoriented. Scott finds him and takes it upon himself to nurse him back to health.

Scott is so confused as for some reason he keeps hearing a fledgling screaming for help. But like he's the only vampire here. Right? Clearly he just wants to grow his coven and nothing more. That and make Avid shut up.I have been reading to many cute little fanatics about the vamps having fun little instincts and Owen being adopted by Scott. Which is great I love that but what if Owen didn't even get to town.
