How do you ask this sort of thing? Kanji tries to articulate hey if you're a guy do you still like guys or is it girls or some other thing somehow and is it related or is that a separate deal, fumbles this halfway out his mouth, and somehow comes out with, “Do you have, uh, feelings?”
“What?” Naoto asks, too befuddled to even look offended.

so naoto's a girl, and kanji's a boy. that means it's fine if he asks her up to the roof, right? wait he hasn't even confessed yet why does she suddenly look so uncomfortable

Summary
Boarding the train after so long felt like a dream. The landscape he vividly remembered from all that time ago, passing by like a flash. His reflection stared back at him from the window. The last time he’d been in Inaba he’d been 2 years younger. Back then, everything had seemed dull and uninteresting as he pulled into the rundown station.
Now, however, the sky looked brighter, the grass greener and it didn’t feel like he was a burden being sent away for the year.
Now it felt like coming home.

The investigation team takes a road trip across Japan. Everything that can go wrong goes wrong, but hey, at least they resolved a couple issues on the way.

A house taken from another time and a soul that shouldn't exist. Nothing makes sense, and that's why he needs to get to the bottom of this.
