It was a new form of birth control, which was a little outside the realms of their usual studies, but Nadia had just given her this look when she’d questioned it. It was a practical experiment of course, and Nadia had prepared a room for it, with a very large bed with crisp white covers.
“Why can’t we just gather the data through means of pregnancy test?” Pidge had asked curiously, once she’d seen the room adjacent, fit with one way glass and a video camera pointed at the bed.
“Because,” Nadia had said at last, a small smirk on her face. “It isn’t just a birth control pill. It’s a sex enhancing pill. And we need to see the effects of it, make sure it’s safe and all that.”
“Do you have candidates?” Pidge asked curiously.
“A few,” Nadia said noncommittally. “But I was thinking maybe you should test it.”

James gulped. “W-why?”
“Because I feel like it. I came all the way across the universe for this.”
“To dance with me?”
Keith snorted, amused. “To bid Iverson good riddance actually, but yeah, dancing with you is a nice plus.”
Feeling forlorn after Keith kissed him then disappeared without a trace, James is surprised when he learns that his feelings aren't quite as unrequited as he feared during Commander Iverson's retirement party.
