Through half-lidded eyes, Will could only see the shape of Mike's lips and how they moved as he spoke. He wanted nothing more than to close the gap between them, to feel Mike's lips against his again. He no longer felt like a live wire of nervousness and anxiety. Years of wanting and waiting and aching so hard he felt hollow culminated into one word. He didn't know what it was before Mike kissed him, but Will felt it again now, gnawing at him from the inside.
