Summary
He summons every vessel of strength left in his face to open the only eye that he can through the aching puffiness. Blurry shapes, light, Teddy, all morph into one, but eventually Jonathan can’t, anymore. He reaches up, one final attempt at some kind of clarity, and he doesn’t know what part of Teddy he finds, but he holds on anyway. He thinks it’s an arm, but it’s enough, pawing at the man like a dog gone blind. Any semblance of contact to soothe every ache inside.
The last thing he feels is a mouth brushing at his temple, a kiss that doesn’t quite know where it wants to be.
A finale fix-it in which Roper is dead, his organisation is well and truly dismantled, and Jonathan and Teddy are left to pick up the pieces—of themselves and each other.

Pine knew this would happen eventually. He didn't expect it to feel like this. Like finding kinship at the end of the world.

Summary
“There was another in our group,” says Rick. “Got separated when our camp was overrun.” He thinks of chestnut-dark hair and eyes the blue of the Chattahoochee in spring, but these aren’t people he knows and this isn’t a poetry class. “Brown hair, blue eyes. Carries a crossbow. You seen him?”
And at Abraham’s who is he to you, Rick says without missing a beat, “He’s my husband.”

Summary
Rick crouched down, the leather of his duty belt creaking softly in the silence of the inner circle. To anyone else - to Shane, currently pacing the perimeter like a caged tiger, or to the young EMT who had turned green and retreated to the ambulance - this was a tragedy. A senseless act of violence.
To Rick, it was quiet.
He studied the wound. It was a single, devastating laceration across the throat, deep enough to sever the artery but controlled enough to avoid the messy, hacking desperation of an amateur. There were no hesitation marks. No defensive wounds on her hands, which lay palms-up and open, as if in supplication. She hadn't fought. She hadn't even had time to scream.

King County is burning under a suffocating heatwave, and a methodical killer is "cleaning up" the town, leaving behind a trail of bodies and zero evidence. When the terrifying silence of the crimes is broken by the town's demand for justice, the mob turns its gaze toward the local pariah: Daryl Dixon. And Deputy Rick Grimes is the only one who stands between Daryl and a lynching.

Summary
“Young-il! I know you’re there! Face me, you coward! FACE ME!”
His voice bounced off the walls, ragged with fury and heartbreak. In-ho couldn’t bring himself to look away. Gi-hun stood alone, Jun-hee’s baby cradled against his chest, swaying slightly as if the weight might drag him down.
The VIPs beside him stirred. He could hear the rustle of fur, the clink of ice in crystal glasses, the irritation of people unaccustomed to dealing with real human emotion.
“What’s he doing?” Eagle asked lazily. “He won, why is he so angry?”
“You’re asking why the maniac who came back willingly is angry?” Panther replied, already bored again.
But In-ho knew. He was daring In-ho to talk to him again. Because they both knew that he had just lost. When Player 333—one who had proven himself to be nothing but selfish and self-serving—had said, “Look after her,” then started the game, and thrown himself off the platform before Gi-hun could even blink, Gi-hun had proven that his faith in humanity wasn’t misplaced.

Summary
In-ho has one chance to convince Gi-hun to join him as his right-hand-man, or else the VIPs want him dead. He agrees.
Because In-ho is right. The rebellion didn't work. It was never going to work. The players are simply too far removed from the people really in charge. Even killing the Front Man would only result in a replacement Front Man. But as the Front Man's protégé, Gi-hun can make a difference. He can do what he can for the players from above, rather than below. He can investigate the gold-masked men. He can scheme.
There's light in the darkness. In-ho helps Gi-hun get Ga-yeong back. He teaches him how to fight, how to survive in this deadly world. Slowly, slowly, they begin to trust each other. (The kissing happens long before the trust.)
Gi-hun uses his new power, undreamt of in his old life, to do what he never did before: think only of others. And the luxury helps, the high-end alcohol helps, but of course he's still tortured by guilt. But at least they're tortured together, and take sanctuary in each other. Gi-hun gets to fight in favor of the players; In-ho gets to not be alone. They both got what they wanted.
Begins immediately following the events of S2.
