Summary
Anders is losing himself to his demon, and Fenris fears he is somehow the only one to notice or care about the implications of what that means.
But after Anders tries to yank him out of the way of a curse during a fight on the Wounded Coast, Fenris finds himself learning more than he ever cared or wanted to about what is going on with the mage and his demon, and to top it all off, now there's an irritating voice in his own head that just won't shut up no matter how much he tries to ignore it.

Bound by an unknown curse that forces them into close proximity (or else suffer excruciating pain the longer and further they are apart), Anders and Fenris must work to overcome deep-seeded fears and their issues with each other as they search for a way to sever their bond before time runs out for them all.

Summary
It's never a good night when they decide to play Wicked Grace for something other than coin.
Or rather, it's never a good night for Anders; his resoundingly bad luck at cards and even worse poker face doom him to be the one most often humiliated by whatever prize is agreed upon instead.
His friends, on the other hand, find these nights delightful, and Anders can't even bring himself to be angry with them for it - it's his consistent lack of coin driving them to come up with these hare brained ideas as an alternative. He knows they mean well, and it's ultimately harmless in the long run.
At least, it usually is - until the night Fenris loses right alongside him, only to escape out Hawke's second floor window mere moments after flirting with Anders, as their friends cheer them on from the other room.
Maybe Anders has a right to be mad at his friends, after all.

The wolves had found him, Parrish had picked him up on the side of the road, he had a fucking picture on his phone. He was screwed. No point in arguing, all it’d do is piss his father off even more.
“You don’t say,” Stiles offered slowly. “What uh—you know, I like stories. Is it a uh, good one?”
“It seems to be a matter of opinion,” Talia said with another kind smile. “I hear you had quite the night last night.”
Okay, time to cut his losses. He was already fucked, all he could do was apologize and hope she didn’t press for him to get fined and arrested. Given he was her husband’s friend’s son, he had high hopes.
