He’s distantly aware that he stumbles at this, legs abruptly going numb and nearly sending him to the ground were it not for the grip Portgas has on him.

Colored smeared his abnormally pale skin underneath his eyes, the purple of a shriveled corpse and the yellow of vomit. They made his large eyes seem small and dull, constantly half lidded and on the verge of something not as restful as sleep but never something awake and alert.
