Kacchan didn’t speak right away. Izuku waited, counting in his head.
Thump, thump, thump. One, two, three.
“Back there, before you brought me here… you kissed me.”

Damian is trying his best to raise the boy, but he doesn't know if he deserves to consider himself Dick's father, or if Dick even wants him to step into that role. He would do anything for Dick, of course. That's all that matters, right?
